I have already taken the ACT (with writing) once and once once without writing, although I mainly did better on the without writing ACT but all of the schools I am applying to require the ACT with writing. Since I have already taken it with writing, can I still send the non-writing score to schools that superscore? Could they just take my writing score from the writing test, or will they not consider the second one at all?

Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t see any down side to sending the better nonwriting score to all schools. Schools that want to use it, will use it. Those that don’t, won’t. Unless, of course, a school specifically states in their materials that they do not want to see more than one score, or only scores with writing. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t cost any more to send more scores to a particular school.

But, as I said, I could be missing some nuance here??

I agree w/ Jane345–send both of them unless there is some statement on their website ssaying to only send one score (doubtful–I have never heard of this).
