ACT test

<p>The ACT is another college entrance test, but instead of math and verbal, it has 4 parts: english, math, science and reading, with a high score of 36. It has traditionally been used more in the midwest, while the SAT is used on the coasts. This has changed in the last few years and almost every college will take ACT scores instead of SAT. <p>SAT II's are subject tests. Some colleges require 3 of these. Historically these have been writing and 2 others such as a math, literature, history, science, foreign language. With the addition of a writing component, some schools will only require 2 SAT II's, while some will still require 3. Here's their home page:
