Act Testing

so i just decided to take the ACT this saturday…just a couple questionS

while i am taking it should i report that i want it sent to umich or can i wait to see wat i get on it and then from there decided to send it?

do i choose to rush the ACT score if i a. fill out info to send it on test date or b. send it after i see my score… will it accept it rushed?

if i report both ACT and SAT will they look at both, best one?

thanks!

You should wait because you never know if you might do bad for some reason
that day (Don't feel well, distracted, tired, questions just suck). You don't
want to be judged on the basis of a lousy performance.

Michigan doesn't accept rush test scores.

Unless you did well on both, just report the one you did better on.

Another app question:
I had a 500 word essay for the first one, but it is REALLY good. Is this going to be a problem (word limit: 250)?

See if you can stream-line it. Take out any sentences which the essay can possibly live without.

If you double the word limit than that's kind of pushing it.

what if i took the ACT in april and rushed the scores to michigan a couple of weeks ago to make sure they got them quickly? will they accept these being that the scores are official by this time?

ok im answering my own question, no. this is dumb though, im not bothering sending my SATS, ill wait until the next batch from the october test gets sent. my ACT that i just resent - not rushed - should suffice for scholarships. it is a 33 and my sat was a 2140. they are about equal.

I doubt a 33 ACT will suffice for merit scholarships at Michigan.
