ACT Tips Needed

So, I am taking the ACT in June for the second time, when I took it in April I received a score of a 22. So disappointing.

Anyways, what are some tips for each section of the ACT?

English- What should I do? Received a sub score of a 23. (I honestly felt I received a 36 on this section)
Math - What concepts should I review? What formulas to know?
Reading - I need tips on actually finishing in the allotted time.
Science - Same as reading need help finishing

Please help me out, the 22 was with no prep. But for the June test I prepping my a** off. I ordered the red-book off of Amazon, and plan on reading it cover-to-cover.

Thank you.

Perhaps you should order your test back, so you can see what you did wrong there.

^ I don’t have 18 bucks, I am saving to retake ACT. The red book I had to beg my parents to buy, and was only 4 bucks.

Hey, I don’t really have any advice, but if you’re “low income” (do you get reduced/free lunch?) you can get a fee waiver from your guidance counselor, that way you won’t have to save up :)

If you have a library, you can probably get ACT books from there. If you don’t, Sparknotes actually has some decent ACT prep information, and it’s free.
As far as finishing on time for reading, my ACT tutor told me to read the intro, topic sentences, and conclusion of every passage and make little notes on the side so you know where to refer back to if a question asks for a specific detail. For science, do the passages with 5 questions first, 6 questions second, and 7 questions last.
