ACT to SAT Conversions (2400 Scale)

Does anyone here have knowledge of ACT-SAT conversions on the 2400 scale? Please do not just give me a link; I have googled this and have already found three different websites with different conversions. Specifically, I scored a 31 (31.25 if that makes any difference). What would this equate to? While I do know that the ACT website says my CR+M score would be a 1390 (which I assume to be most accurate), I have heard from many that one cannot just multiply it by 1.5 to get the score out of 2400. The ranges I have seen from multiple websites have been 2040-2100.

I am applying to colleges based on the notion that I got the equivilant of a 2070. Is this assumption close, or am I way off? Replies would be helpful.

Thanks!

2070 is pretty equivalent in my opinion…but most colleges have ACT averages as well so look at those for a better idea.

So how do you convert?

[(ACT Score) / 36] * 800?

or

[(ACT Score) / 36] * 600 + 200?

The latter is because your percentage on the ACT should be the same as the percentage on the SAT. Remember, you get 200 points automatically on the SAT.
