ACT - Urgent question, please help!

<p>I'm submitting my UC apps tomorrow morning and just recieved my ACT score today - I got a 34, which isn't bad. HOWEVER, I recieved a 6/12 on my essay.</p>

<p>So should I sent my ACT scores even with a 6/12 on the essay section? Would that ruin my chances of getting in to such schools as UCLA, Berkley, etc?</p>

<p>(btw, all the commentors wrote were something like 'essay is written clearly and very well but is too short'. i wrote 4 paragraphs. how much do those ACT people want you to write?!)</p>

<p>What's your SAT score? If your ACT score is wayy higher than your SAT score, I think you should still submit it even if the essay score is a little low. A 34 on the ACT is very impressive, congrats!</p>
