Which one is harder? Which one do you think there's a better chance to do better on?

they're completely different. the ACT tests harder math and requires a much faster pace. but the questions are also much more straightforward. it really depends on the type of thing you're better at, so you should at least take a couple practice tests of both.
there are also about a thousand other threads asking hte exact same thing, so you can search for those.

Well if you don't like science, don't take the ACT since the science section is fairly though. The concepts are not hard, but the time (40 questions in 35 minutes) can pose a problem and even a few wrong answers on this section can cost you dearly.

ACT

*Additional science section.
*No guessing penalty.

The both have their strengths. And they're both completely different. I'm one of the few people who did worse on the ACT than the SAT (of course, with the ACT, I only had a few hours of sleep the previous night)

I like the 0 penalty policy for guessing, but I don't like the harder time. I felt rushed onthe math and science sections. I didn't finish 20 ?s on the Math. Of course, I Christmas-treed. But only 3 of those answers were correct. All of the problems I finished I got correct, but not having time to finish the others ony gavve me a 26 on math.

on the ACT i felt that the questions were easier and more straight forward. i was crammed for time on every section though.
on the SAT i felt that the questions were more subjective, but i had plenty of time to go back and check my answers and reread questions at the end.
i got a 31 and a 2200 (1470 old scale) so i guess i'll say i liked the SAT better.
