So I took both the SAT and ACT my Junior year (I'm now going into senior year), and had some interesting results. I got a 2070 on my SAT but a 33 on my ACT. As I understand, my ACT score is proportionally much better than my SAT.

Is it possible to choose which I submit so colleges don't see my SAT score? (I understand some schools ask for everything)

If I'm applying to a school via the common app, can I pick and choose which tests they see?

If the schools that do not accept score choice require that you submit the SAT, then you must submit all SAT and subject test scores. However, if you submit the ACT then you do not have to submit the SAT. The last scenario is if you submit the ACT and the school requires you to take 2 SAT subject tests. If the school does not accept score choice, then you may need to submit all tests that you took.

Most colleges and universities will accept your ACT score as all the standardized testing you need.

Some selective colleges and universities ask for SAT subject tests. Many of these, however, will accept the ACT in lieu of the SAT Reasoning Test and SAT subject tests. In other words, even if you’re applying to fancy-shmancy colleges, many (but not all) of them will still accept the ACT as all the standardized testing you need.

A few very fancy colleges will want you to submit SAT subject test scores even if you submit ACT scores. Some of these colleges permit score choice, and they’ll let you select which scores the College Board will send them; others don’t, and at those colleges, you’ll have to send all your SAT scores if you’re sending any SAT scores.

A very small number of very selective universities (Yale and Stanford spring to mind, but I’ll welcome additions or corrections) require applicants to send score reports from all standardized testing–all ACTs, SAT Reasoning Tests, SAT subject tests, whatever.

And none of this score reporting is done via the Common Application. It’s done by sending official score reports from either the College Board (for SATs) or ACT.

Y does not permit Score Choice at all, but they don’t require that you send all standardized testing. If you choose to fulfill their requirements using the SAT, then you must send all SAT and Subject tests; if you choose to fulfill their requirements using the ACT, then you must list all ACTs, but send only one. If you have fulfilled their requirements with one test but choose to send also another, then you must send all sittings of that test:
