is ACT easier than SAT,
i am not really good at english(vocab)
should i take ACT?
Does colleges look at ACT and SAT equally?
thanks

The ACT is not necessarily easier than the SAT, but most people score better on the ACT than they do on the SAT for the sole fact that the ACT tests high school knowledge, while the SAT tests reasoning skills.

If you’re not good at memorizing vocabulary, I would recommend that you take the ACT (some SAT test takers that I’ve talked to also wonder about the inclusion of the vocabulary on the SAT). While you don’t need extensive vocabulary knowledge on the ACT, it is good to know some general high school level words to help you succeed on the reading section.

However, I wouldn’t just take the ACT simply because you aren’t good at vocab. If you aren’t capable of answering many questions in a short period of time, the ACT wouldn’t be the best thing for you to take. In that case, I would take the SAT. The following outlines the time limits for each section:
English: 75 questions in 45 minutes
Math: 60 questions in 60 minutes
Reading: 40 questions in 35 minutes
Science: 40 questions in 35 minutes

And to answer your final question, yes, all colleges in the US accept both the ACT and the SAT equally for admissions.

Hey guys!
I found a quiz that can help you decide which test you’re better at! They give you questions on both (without you knowing which ones are ACT or SAT), and at the end they tell you which one you should take!
Here is the website! (it’s the red thing on the homepage that says “SAT vs. ACT”)
