Hey there everyone I'm applying to Georgetown RD. I've taken both the SAT and the ACT, but my ACT scores are far better. Here are my best scores in each:

I have thus far only sent my ACT scores, thinking that Georgetown's application was score optional like all of the other schools I applied to, but I've heard that this is not the case. Someone told me that they strongly suggested I not only send GTown my SAT scores, but I also take at least 2 SAT II's.

Does anyone know if I need to send my SAT and take SAT II's?
And if I do, do I still have time to take them?

YES take SAT 2 geroge strongly recommends so basically wants 3 SAT 2’s you dont have to have 3 but I would strongly suggest 2. And You do have time. Take the January SAT for your subject test because Georgetown will take them and do not send your SAT1 because your ACT is so high

Georgetown wants 3 subject tests no matter if you have taken the ACT or SAT. I think I have heard of people getting in with 2 subject tests, but not sure. Georgetown also requires tests taken to be submitted.

Students get into Georgetown with 2 SAT subject tests 3 looks better but I am telling you to take at minimum 2 SAT subject test and I actually I take that back you should send both your SAT and ACt because when you try to send SAT scores from college board, college board automatically selects all of the tests you have taken because George wants to see them all

I got in EA with no subject tests at all. The scores I did send were pretty good, though - perfect ACT and perfect CR and W SATs (SAT math was mediocre at 690). So I would think that if you’re very confident with your current scores, the 3 SAT subject tests aren’t necessarily too important, but if you really want to make yourself shine, it can’t hurt to take more.

And yeah, you’re required to send all your scores.
