Of these two standardized test, which of them would you consider easier to study for? If you got a low score on your first test, which could you make more of an improvement on the next time?

Just curious!

I think it’s easier to improve your score on the SAT’s, because there is more of a range in the scores, and then you can superscore. I’m not sure which would be easier to study for; keep in mind that the ACT is different in that it has Science, which is pretty much being able to infer from graphs and making logical conclusions from data and lab procedures and such. I’d recommend taking both ACT and SAT though, you never know which one could be better for you until you try! Good luck :)

I think SAT is easier to study for because it doesn’t have science…I hate science.

My daughter found ACT to be slightly easier to prepare, however, she did more or less the same in both practice test (with score conversion). It really depends on the students. The school counselors recommend taking both to see which one you do better and then submit that score for application. If you don’t have time or money, try the practice test and then pick the one you do better to focus on.

I would say ACT, though it really depends on how well you test. For the ACT, there are fewer breaks but bigger chunks of testing at a time. And theres a science portion too. Try both if you get the chance.

ACT is an easier test in my opinion. The only hard part about the ACT is the timing and the science section. However, nothing is impossible. Just some extra practice can get anyone a good score.
