Hello all,

I had a few questions in regards to Georgetown's testing policy. I know for the SAT, they only look at CR and Math scores. Does this mean that the ACT they only look at reading and math or look at the composite? Also, does Georgetown preference one test over the other because most of the applicants submitted SAT scores and now ACT scores. Its probably a dumb question, but any help would be appreciated!

It’s actually a great question. Not sure Admissions will answer this or not.

According to their student profile, they list the composite score for the ACT. I they may put more weight on the English and Math sections (those are usually the sections that get most weight on the ACT), but Georgetown seems to put the majority of the weight on the composite score.

For the ACT, they look at just the composite. No preference between SAT and ACT.
