Act vs SAT

I am applying to UC Davis, Cal State San Marcos, and Cal Poly Pomona. I have a UC GPA of 4.14, if that matters.

My scores:
SAT 1610
math 540
CR 580
Writing 490

ACT 21
Math 25
English 20
Reading 16 :frowning:
Science 24
Essay (Do not know yet)

So I am wondering what should I send. I know my SAT is better overall, but the math section on the ACT makes me look a lot better than the SAT. Its the exact opposite with Reading. Would any of the colleges I am applying to look at my scores, and take my math from the ACT and CR from SAT or evaluate them seperatly? Should I even send the ACT since it’s so low?

Send the SAT and pretend the ACT never happened. The 25 in math isn’t good enough to where it would make any positive difference to send it. Most colleges will superscore the SAT but will only look at highest composite for ACT, and i don’t think you would want them to see the 21. Good luck with everything!
