ACT vs. SAT

I scored a 33 on the ACT test which I was happy with.

However, I was disappointed with my SAT test results:
CR: 720
M: 670
W: 650 (on the PSAT I scored an 80 which I thought was comparable to and 800 on the multiple choice portion of the writing section. On this SAT I scored a 63 on same section. Does this make sense?)

I am applying to WashU, Brown, Emory, Yale and Princeton.
I am top of my class and take the most challenging course load (APs). Unweighted my GPA is 4.6

All of the schools I am applying to will accept the ACT with writing (I haven't received the written score back yet) instead of SAT I.
However, Princeton requires SAT IIs, and the other schools recommend them. Therefore, they will see my SAT I scores if I send the SAT IIs.
I am considering not sending SAT IIs, but my GC and the colleges told me not to worry about the SAT, since they will use my highest score - the ACT, and to just send everything.
Do you think this is true? I feel my application will look stronger with just the ACT score of 33.

Also, what do you think my chances are of getting in these schools?
I have several ECs and am president of some clubs.
Thanks

I don't know if you would have a chance at any Ivies w/o SAT II's

My daughter got into Brown with a 30 ACT and no SAT IIs. I don't think there is a flat rule that you need the latter; it depends on the rest of the application. Admission to these schools isn't just a function of stats -- so I don't think anyone can really give you your chances. People get in with stats like yours; they also get rejected.

You haven't said what your SAT II scores are. This could make a difference in your decision. Also, what is it you want to study? If you have high SAT II scores related to what you want to study, I think it would be worth sending them in.

one point of ACT is not to take sat ii's.

I know, I would prefer not to take SAT IIs, but Princeton requires them.
I will take them in June. I'm not sure what I am interesting in studying.
