Will I be okay if I just apply with the ACT? Also, I’m not a very strong canidate for Penn, so please keep that in mind. Opinions appreciated.

I took the ACT and got in. I can't remember if I had to submit SAT IIs as well, and if the requirements have changed since then with the redesigns of each test and such, but they have no preference SAT vs. ACT wise.

According to their website, you can take either the ACT or the SAT I with 2 SAT II tests. I guess you don't need to take SAT IIs if you use the ACT. I'll be taking them anyhow for other schools.

According to collegeboard.com, 24% of the applicants submitted the ACT, so it's ok.

At least that's what I'm planning to do.

what is the range in the ACT score?

2-36. I'd aim for the higher numbers though.

what does the 2 mean?

I submitted both, but my SAT was below the middle 50% and I barely slipped in with the ACT, so just use whichever one will look better based on the stats... but also it can't hurt to submit both.... either way, I don't think it matters

what were some of the ACT scores for poeple who got admitted?

Any more opinions?
