ACT w/o reading

I took the ACT without the reading portion (scored a 31). Do you know if GT will take the highest scores from each section of my ACT test to get a total composite score for consideration on my application? Or, if they only look at each ACT test (w/writing) as a whole? I am taking the test again in Sept with the writing of course.

According to this:

It sounds like an English/Writing score is necessary. It also appears that they superscore the ACT? Any truth to this?

Yes, Tech does superscore the ACT. When I applied to the school, they combined my highest scores for a composite score of 31.

Oh wow, that’s pretty awesome. :)

they superscore ACTs and convert them to SATs. For example, my english score of 31 converted to a 700. My math score of 32 was a 720. So they try and make standardized tests less influential on your admission. Definitely take hard classes and make great grades in them…thats more important.
