What the hell was math's problem! I just practiced from the red ACT book and I thought that should be enough since the tests were supposedly real tests -____-. The math is SO much easier in the book! I HAD TO GUESS ON LIKE 8 TODAY DUE TO THE TIME!

On the red book I finish EARLY! That DEFO had a bad impact on my Science and Reading tests :(

And since we did the ACT today, will the US ACT test be different... or will the questions be the same ;o

Not necessarily. The two tests, once the curves are placed upon them, exhibit equal difficulty. If the math section on the ACT in the US is easier, than a harsher curve would be put into place. However, it is also wise to note that curves do NOT compare the International and the US tests alone. ACT Inc. has already created many, many different forms of the test and implemented according curves to each test.

Hmmm. I was aiming 30-32 on Math and actually got 32-33 on the practice tests on the red book; so according to you now since the test was more difficult today, the curve will compensate for the (up to about 8 potential mistakes) and keep my score in that range?

8 mistakes on the ACT, no matter what the curve, will rarely land you in the 30-36 range. But, if the test was THAT hard, then math -8 might land you around your 30-32 range.

Yup I actually scored a 30 on Math haha. The shocking part was that I got a 32 on English. I scored 25+ consistently on Science during practice and somehow I pulled a darned 22 on the real test. Really destroyed a potentially great composite score… made a 28. Years later I’m at a decent university, math books/notebooks scattered around the computer at the library right now. Was a nice journey thus far, lots of bumpiness but I’ll get over it. 21st birthday coming up pretty soon, really excited.
