Is it allowed to submit your ACT score along with 2-3 subject tests?
Or is it subject tests ONLY with SAT reasoning?

It is totally allowed to submit SAT subject tests with the ACT. In fact, many of the top tier colleges require to take the tests in this format.

You can submit your subject tests, but any previously taken SAT I score must also be submitted along with your ACT to most colleges.

Basically, you’ll probably have to send all of your collegeboard crap or none of it (disregarding APs)

@ Egbert Souse: Why do you have to send your SAT reasoning test? You can send your subject test score only, right?

I cannot take the Sat Reasoning because…

1.My single mother and I cannot afford anymore tests(we spent $450 on AP’s and two ACT’s)
2.I took practice tests for the SAT Reasoning and I feel much more comfortable and accomplished with the ACT.

Do I really HAVE to take the SAT 1?
I have a 34 on ACT with high subject tests.

Yes, it is allowed to submit only the ACT w/ 2-3 subject tests. You do not need to take the SAT reasoning; a 34 on the ACT with high subject tests is amazing and will get you into many places as long as you have decent essays, ecs, grades…

1) You may qualify for fee waivers for future tests and college applications. Definitely look into it.
2) Don’t bother taking the SAT. Every college I know of will take the ACT and 2-3 high subject tests scores.
3) I don’t know Egbert Souse is saying, but you CAN submit your SAT Subject scores only. No need to take and submit your SAT reasoning.

So, to summarize, do NOT bother taking the SAT, especially if you do not feel comfortable with it. Stick with your 34 ACT (You took the ACT with writing right?) and your subject test scores.

Ok, I’m FAIRLY CERTAIN that you have to send all SAT I and SAT II scores at once.

I’m not sure though, so if someone could settle this with a collegeboard quote, that would be nice. :)

Higher Education Professionals | College Board;

I know you don’t need to send your reasoning test if you have never taken it. I also know you could opt to not send your reasoning grade if the college you apply to honors score choice.

^ BEFORE YOU IMMEDIATELY ASSUME THIS LINK IS RIGHT! ^

…you should know that most top colleges tell you that you cannot use score choice and must send all of your scores.

ok no need to argue.
Thank you 1253729:)

I actually had a chat with a student who got accepted to YALE today!!(friend of my mom’s) and she personally said “The SAT is much harder and I got accepted into most of my schools with just the ACT.”

Yes, but if he probably didn’t take the SAT, making it to where he couldn’t have sent a reasoning score for that reason alone.
