Many top colleges have now changed so that they do not require ACT with writing. I have one score with writing though the composite it is not very good (32), but I plan on retaking and getting a higher composite. However, since I am applying Early Decision and the score needs to be sent as soon as possible, I was thinking of taking the ACT without writing so the score can get their on time. Do you think they will care if I don’t have a score with writing? Do these colleges really not emphasize the writing portion as much?
Only on CC is a 32 “not very good!” You do know that a 32 puts you in the 98th percentile…
I thought 32 is 96%…not saying it is not very good
