ACT Writing Essay

yeah i talked about tensions between parents and teens as well as the fact that teenagers might leave their phones at home if they knew their parent were going to watch where they were going, which would be a problem if they ever got in a dangerous situation. personally, i would never leave my phone at home, but i thought i made a pretty good argument so hopefully it worked:)

how much did you write?

2 pages, you?

Yeah, the high school to college transition was a good one. One of my paragraphs talked about how the location data could fall victim to a hacker, especially because parents can be naive. I cited the recent Sony Pictures break-in as an example.

This was probably the best test essay I’ve ever written. Length was around 3 2/3 pages. The rest of the test, however… Well, that’s a different story. :frowning: I’ll just hope for the best in two weeks.

I was thinking, since some colleges superscore, wouldn’t it be hilarious if a kid just prepared for one test each test date and ended up with a 36 on that section and like a 3 in everything else each time. That would be too funny, cuz they’d have to just consider him /her as 36 composite. Just a thought lmao.

mine was about 2 3/4 i think

So did everyone get the same GPS cell phone prompt on the June test? It seems like they could come up with something more interesting than that!

Shoot!! I didnt have a counter argument…:(
