ACT Writing Score Good Enough For Georgia Tech?

I got a 35 Composite (36 math, 35 English, 34 science, 33 reading)on the ACT and a 6 on writing. Should I retake the test test for writing? I want to go to Georgia Tech

uh…no, don’t take it again. Ga Tech is not going to reject a candidate with a 35 because he received a 6 on writing.

you could always get rejected for other reasons though…what are your other stats? are you in or out of state? what major?

Also GT doesn’t look at the writing. They sent counselors a report reminding us of that change. With a 35 ACT, your test score is good and will not be an issue for GT. Apply EA and do a really good job on your application to demonstrate how you will contribute to GT’s campus. That is what matter so GT. Good luck.
