<p>What are the disadvantages for me to take the non-writing? I took writing in December. Would there be any disadvantage if I take non-writing in February? (I have to take ACT/PSAE in April w/ writing (I think) in April because I live in Illinois). Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks.</p>
<p>If you score really well on the Feb test but don’t have the writing you won’t be able to use those scores at colleges that require the writing I believe.</p>
<p>Most colleges require you to take the ACT with writing. They won’t accept scores without it. You might as well just take the writing, because your composite isn’t affected by it anyways.</p>
