<p>With a poor grade in Writing on the ACT, I don't know what I'm missing.</p>
<p>Do you mean that English section? Because the writing is scored on a 2-12 scale, I think.<br>
You might want to try going to the ACT sub-forum and searching for ACT writing. There are lots of tips there from people who have scored 11 or 12 on the writing portion.</p>
