<p>Haha I got an 11 on the essay, and with my 35 for english that puts at at a combined 34.</p>
<p>BUT, I only got a 32 composite, so does it still matter that I did good on my combined?</p>

<p>i got a 9…last time i got a 10 on ACT writing and i’ve scored an 11 both times i took the SAT.</p>
<p>I don’t think the readers liked my macroeconomics arguments that i learned in my ap class. i though they were very relevant though to the topic if added in the right way.</p>

<p>I wish the writing score was factored into composite…my English score was a 29, but I got a 12 on the essay so that brought the combined score up to a 31. Might have boosted me to that 33 composite. :/</p>

<p>^ No, not unless you’re applying to top schools and the UC’s (but even some top schools don’t require the writing portion of the ACT.)</p>
