Act

All the seniors please , I need to ask some questions about ACT
Has anyone here given ACT before in India?

I know many have but anyone active on CC now?

^bump please …has anyone given ACT ?

Erm, maybe ask your questions right here, rather than wait for somebody to respond?

I took the SAT myself, not the ACT. Over here, the general consensus seems to be that if you’re an international whose grasp over English isn’t the best, the ACT is probably for you because it has less technical language-related questions.

Also, the ACT section of CC could help answer your questions: [ACT Preparation - College Confidential](ACT Preparation - College Confidential Forums)

No I have some center specific related questions , which can be answered only by someone who took ACT in India

Not exactly a senior( 12 th) as in senior but I have taken the ACT.
I took the ACT in B’lore.

even I did this June :stuck_out_tongue: I wanted to ask some things before giving it

Yes, I gave the ACT a couple of years ago.

Little piece of advice – don’t go by the idea that ACT is easier than SAT in anyway. That’s absolutely not the case. Most people automatically assume that given that there is no deductions for incorrect answers, ACT is easier.
That said, if you are interested in the Sciences, you may have an edge over yourself when(and if) you write the SAT.
Good Luck!

Yeah, I gave the ACT.
And woah. Neither is easier than the other. However, it is possible that a person is better suited for one over the other.
Also, ACT’s english isn’t easier than the SAT’s. Atleast, not in my opinion.
