Ok, so I have a question. Do most of these ba/md programs accept ACT scores in lieu of the SAT?

Ok, so I have a question. Do most of these ba/md programs accept ACT scores in lieu of the SAT?

it's best to take both... that's what i did... although my act score was better than my sat score

can you explain why the act was better for you

well, my ACT score was better too

the ACT doesn't punish you for guessing for one thing

even tho the act may be acceptable at some programs, I highly suggest you try to do well on the sats. This is because most of the students who apply use sat scores and colleges may find it odd to use the relatively few act scores to make decisions in a group of a very small number of students.

the act was better for me because it tested me more of what i learned in school... i just found it overall easier. I think more of the midwest schools take the act and the east coast schools tend to look at the sat more. But again it's best to submit both scores and get both as high as possible.

The ACT doesn't rely on a bunch of fancy-sounding words that you will never need to learn again. They care more about how you think.

My SAT wasnt that great but my aCT was pretty good and it got me into Case PPSP, so take both...it doesnt hurt!!!
