ACT

Hey all, I currently have a 36 in the ACT with no writing and a 35 and 10 on another ACT. I was wondering if I could superscore the two to get a 36 and a 10 in writing? I wasn’t sure if the writing could be superscored or not, so just asking. Thanks!

Obviously, it makes no difference if you are applying to a college that does not require or consider the writing section (majority of colleges). As to those that require the writing section, many do not superscore ACT tests at all. Then, even if they superscore, you have the issue of whether they will even consider at all an ACT test without writing when you submit another one with writing – some will, some wil not. A problem you face with that group which requires writing and superscore is that most do not tell you on their sites whether they will actually consider an ACT without writing when you submit another one with writing, and thus you will need to contact the particular college for the answer.
