<p>Penn says they look at composite scores. But do they look into the subscores at all? Meaning that they regard the Math and English score more than the science.</p>
<p>I'm sure they do, but they also recognize that different students have different strengths. You don't have to get a 35 in all four sections to be a competetive applicant... </p>
<p>And from personal experience, my science score was significantly lower than my other three tests (despite being a science major, haha), and I still got accepted.</p>

<p>Well first, just make sure you know I took the old ACT... probably doesn't make much of a difference, but just throw that out there. I had a 34 composite, and something like (I truly don't remember these for sure though) 34 english, 35 math, 36 reading, 30 science.</p>

<p>Well bring them up where they'll be competetive, but my testing was a strong part of my app... there are plenty of other ways to be a strong applicant, even if you don't have the best scores ever.</p>
