whats the avg ACT score for BU?

See thread two levels below. Average ACT for Incoming Class of 09---meaning these are students that chose to enroll---accepted scores are bound to be somewhat higher.
Act-27-31
SAT 1270-1410

So 25% of the students scored above or below the middle range.

ic, do u think a 27 ACT is sufficient. My other stuff really really makes me stand out. (Essays, courseload, grades, EC's, recs) so im not too worried bout those...its just my ACT thats getting to me

Remember if you take the act again, you can send only the highest scores without the others, unlike the SAT. Did you try the SAT too?

ya my SAT is way above the avg, but my GC told me not to take SAT II's which i believe BU requires, so if i wanna apply to BU its gotta be with the ACT. I mean minus my scores on the SAT/ACT, everything else is seriously top notch, i have alot of awards for EMS, alot of accomplishments, started a red cross chapter, 2000 EC hours, all those academic honor societies, and other clubs with leadership roles for many years. I feel like its just my scores holding me back

but idk

At BU and other schools its the SAT 1 and 2s OR the ACT. That doesn't mean you can't offer your SAT 1 scores in addition to your ACT since taking the ACT elimintes the need for the SAT 2s. Is this how others see it?

Do you guys think a 30 ACT is sufficient?

yo start ur own thread

If the average is 27-31 you can assume that a 30 provides a good chances--if you can bring it up a little it will make a big difference.
