"Acted on" status??!

Rejected today. No postmark as it is a bulk mail envelope. It came with a second tan sheet that was a FAQ sheet.

so i think we really are all rejections …

Rejected today. Same thing, bulk mail. My guess ia that it went out on Saturday as I live in San Diego.

I had the events tab until I was forwarded on 3/13. I have not had it since. If you still have it, then you might be in.

seriously? so not everyone has it…? can anyone else who was rejected please let me know if they have it, and if so what is under it?

Oh My God.
SAN DIEGO is getting them?
I really hope that don’t get a rejection letter (which seems to be what they’re mailing out today), or I’m going to cry.
Long and Hard.
.-.

Just got my mail…rejected =[ This “acted on” status got my hopes up just to destroy it in a few hours. Oh well. Other colleges await.

That events tab cannot possibly be indicative of admission because I’ve had it for months.

right but werty said his went away when he went to forwarded (i.e. when they began evaluating his app and probably made a decision)

nvm dream you’re right.

anyway, to hold the hope >> http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/485495-3-29-accepted.html

I live in So Cal and I just got rejected =( Good Luck to the rest of you guys

i live in socal and got rejected as well. i might appeal though i doubt that will help. good luck to the rest of you.

@jack - that thread is from 2008 though??

the wait is over
rejected, norcal…

does acted on= rejection??

Tornados,
I’m sorry you weren’t accepted to USC. I know it’s something you wanted and you tried hard and it didn’t work. But…

Your prize for playing the Application Game (2010 Edition) is 4 fun filled years in unbelievably beautiful San Diego at one of the Nation’s top universities, UC San Diego! That sounds really tough. :)

To all,
The term ‘reject’ is a little harsh. How about looking at it like it really is? You’re the brightest kids in the country competing in a game where there are 20 seats for every 100 applicants. You’re smart and talented and you will go on to wonderful college careers at wonderful universities. You will do amazing things.

Best,
Wheaty

i second milindam’s question
did anyone that changed to “acted on” today get accepted? or did everyone taht changed to “acted on” get rejected?

it seems like only the “forwarded” are getting accepted (spring)

mine changed to acted on , presumably sometime over the weekend

dreamupsided0wn, yeah but it’s some hope. i’m trying…

Rejected, SoCal
