<p>Hello! I applied and auditioned for CAP 21 like most at NYU. Although since straight theatre, especially classical, is an equal love of mine, I decided to go for a 2nd studio option, and explained to my auditioner that I thought the philosophy of the Meisner Extension was best for me. I almost think I got too passionate about acting in my interview… and I’m pretty sure that, if I get in, it will most definitely be for acting at Meisner. Does anyone know ANYTHING about this studio? I love the ideas of Sanford Meisner… but it is the studio I can find the least about, and the only one without its own website! I don’t know anything about numbers… admissions… productions… well, if anyone can help!</p>
<p>The Meisner Extension is the smallest of the Tisch studios with about 18 students. Vicki Hart is the head of acting and she is one of the better Meisner teachers around. It is my second choice studio after Atlantic.</p>
