Acting Acceptances

Anyone heard from PACE for Acting?

Nope...still waiting.

Received the acceptance letter today! Good Luck to all!

What did the acting acceptance envelope look like? Has anyone gotten rejection notices from acting yet? D is not home yet and there’s a thin envelope with performing arts on it…yikes

Acceptance letter arrived in a slightly largely than standard-sized white envelope with the words “Performing Arts” typed in the upper left-hand corner. Single sheet of paper inside (“the letter”). I actually thought it was junk mail. Congrats to all accepted!

accepted today

good luck everyone

Does anyone know the final count of how many auditioned for MT, BA Acting, and BFA Acting and how many are getting acceptances? Our BA acting acceptance was mailed on the 17th, arrived in the west today. Congratulations to everyone in Performing Arts…class of 2013

D was also accepted into the BA, which at Pace is pretty darn good!

It’s interesting, she’s still very happy because she was so impressed with the program, the people and the atmosphere. She’ll still get almost the same classes and contacts as everyone else. Plus in general BA’s can re-audition the next year with the staff having gotten to know them, their talent, personality, work habits etc. Yeah, she’s still happy. :-)

Still have to hear from two schools. (she only auditioned for 4 ) One, where she gave her best audition… so we’ll see where things lead, but I know she REALLY wants to go to New York.

Congrats Nickeatworld, Do Work & mtnwest!

My s got his letter on Friday. BA acting focus. He is very excited.

From some notes taken about last years class someone at Pace told me there were approximately 40 admitted to BA(all three focus’ combined) 20-30 BFA Acting and 20-30 BFA MT. Does anyone know how many applied this year? Anyone in the Honors College?

mtnwest, I’m not positive how many auditioned for Pace this year, but we were told they were accepting 34 students for the MT BFA to yield 25. Sorry I don’t have more info than that, but I hope that helps a little!

OOPS I meant how many auditioned this year not how many applied!! My notes were that those numbers were those who accepted and enrolled, approximately 90 new students in performing arts.

My daughter received her acceptance letter into Pace MT last week. She is very excited, and I’m glad she chose Pace, as we had three guality campus visits. Six trips to NYC in the past twelve months was fun but tiring, especially considering we travel from the south. I’ve become quite competent regarding the offerings of theatre and acting programs throughout the city. Pace is a good fit for her.

YAY! My daughter received her acceptance into the BFA acting program today!! Her first acceptance so it’s that much sweeter!! Had one rejection already so we’re ecstatic. She also was waitlisted to the BFA MT…but wanted either one so we’re so good.
