With all the other factors weighing on finding a great BFA or BA program, it seems the quality of the campus never comes in to play, but I’m curious. What schools with good programs do you think have nice campuses? My son doesn’t care, but I think it might matter.
Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
That’s a fun question! My kid wanted “city” schools so we didn’t look at most of the beautiful campus schools. I would add:
BFA:
Elon
USC
Penn State
BA:
Vassar
Connecticut College
Skidmore
Wesleyan
Yale
LMU
Wagner
We were at Elon auditioning for the BFA in dance and the campus is lovely.
Same at James Madison, but their program is a BA. Also a lovely campus.
Great schools and programs but not right for my daughter.
Hands down in our tours and experience The Theatre School at DePaul! The building is 4-5 years old, a complete performance and learning space, it’s gorgeous, functional and made me want to go back to school. Plus it is part of DePaul’s beautiful campus in the heart of Chicago (you can’t tell I’m biased and in love because D is going there )
