Activities Chart

So... on the online version of the page where it asks you to list activities, hours, and positions/awards, etc., the latter column doesn't allow you to input many characters! I don't have a ton of activities, but I have lots of awards in each-- I've heard this is important to Stanford (being deeply involved in things, passion, etc.) but how are they supposed to know this if I can't even type in the full name of some of the groups I belong to?

sigh...

u can prolly use the paper app and jsut write everything in really small letters...

or, be concise.

Hm, going along with the posted question, I submitted the Stanford Part 1 via internet. Will they mind if I decide to submit Part 2 by paper?

Also, anyone know if we can track Stanford apps?

Yeah, do the aper app. Trust me. My writing was TINY.

yea, you can do online, then paper, separate.

no, there is no online tracking, but you can call the admis. office and see if they've received it.

But don't make your writing so tiny that it's not easy to read.

Ok thanks! I'll definitely be doing the paper one.

If you type it, you can fit even more :) I used photoshop..

raven001, how exactly did you type it? did you scan it into photoshop and type onto the image and then print it out? Sounds very clever to me, regardless. I may have to do the same! :)

How small did you type it in Photoshop, raven? I think I used Arial 9-pt font even though the online application used 10-pt.

Photoshop opens .pdf files natively, so no scanning was necessary :) I think I used 10-11 point font, bolded for readability. IN the end, I thought it looked VERY professional and was very easy to read... I'll let oyu know in Dec. if it helped! :D

Thanks so much, raven001. I did the same thing but used adobe illustrator and it looks quite lovely. :)
