I was just wondering if for the short, "Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below (150 words or fewer, 750 character maximum)," essay if it would be possible to talk about my volunteer experience at an orphanage, but focus on how the actions of one of the children there has affected the way I see the world? This would mean I am not writing as much about my contribution to the orphanage.

Would it be interpreting the question wrong? Are we supposed to write more about how we changed the lives of others, not how they changed our lives? Or does it not matter as long as it has to do with an activity?

Thanks!
