Activities on Common App, help?

Hey all. I'm still trying to wrap my head around much of the Common App in terms of reporting my ECs and other school activities. A few questions.

I'm the editor in chief of a school publication, where does that go? Our publications function as official classes with a teacher and all, so does that count as an extracurricular? Where would I list it in the Common App?

Same thing for being a Japanese teacher assistant? I decided not to take Japanese this year and to keep up with the language, I decided to TA for the Japanese teacher, where does that go? Basically, I want the adcoms to know that I didn't give up on Japanese, but took a different educational route.

What about out of school awards, like national photo contests?

That one month I spent in India for volunteering and homestay?

Last thing, where do I put random tidbits about myself (besides in essays). Like I'm a bilingual blogger?

THANKS GUYS!!

If you work on the publication outside of class (of course you do), it’s an extracurricular activity.
Being a bilingual blogger is an extracurricular activity.
Being a photographer is an extracurricular activity. List the photo contest award there.

Being a teaching assistant for the Japanese class? You could call that a job. If you don’t get paid, you could note it as a volunteer position.
