Activity List

I was reading a book about how one should submit an activity list in the Common Application for the sake of standing out. However, in the context of colleges in the Top 20 that do not use the common app, should I still submit an activity list? I am applying to Rice and Georgetown.

Thanks!

~Bump~ Please help!

i think it depends on the school. if they are adamant that applicants not send in any additional information, then don't.

Try to put your top 8 activities in the space provided by the common app. This will allow you to choose your most important activities. After combining a few similar activities, I found out that nothing else was especially important.

I used the section for additional information to describe a few specifics and mention other activities, but the format help to condense your activities in to a more meaningful list (how often do you just skim over the super-long profiles in the CC chances section).
