I am an international student and was accepted by NYU AD with a predicted IB scores of 43. However, I actually scored 38 and am very worried about my acceptances to rescinded by the U. Is there anyone who have come across similar case share your experience? Many thanks!
You will not be rescinded for a 38 unless the difference all came from one subject and the IB exam results is the same as your transcript grade.
e.g. If your predicted was 7-7-7-6-6-6-3=42 and your actual is 7-6-6-6-6-5-2=38, you’re fine. If your actual is 2-7-7-7-6-6-3=38, then you might have an issue.
Thanks for your quick response which is very useful.
My difference in score is evenly distributed among the subjects. Just received an official confirmation that I am still accepted. Thanks again skieurope!
You’re welcome. Good luck at NYU.
