<p>I hate math. I can probably handle the physics and calculus and manage the MCAT, but I REALLY don't care to continue any sort of higher level mathematics during med school. Are there any math classes in med school? Or is it all anatomy/physiology and chem and all that by that point?</p>
<p>There is some algebra based stuff, but it’s pretty easy over all. Research careers may require more, and perhaps nuclear medicine/parts of radiology.</p>
<p>I am an MD who did my residency in Nuclear Medicine and while the medical physicist has to know math the doctors generally do not need to know much more than high school Algebra.</p>
