Applied to: GA Tech, U Illinois, UT Austin, U Michigan, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Stanford
Got in: GA Tech, U Illinois (Honors), Carnegie Mellon, Stanford (Full Ride.. Will be Attending)
Denied Cornell, UT Austin (They claimed I was too late? I would disregard this for chance purposes)
U Michigan still hasn't told me **** but I could care less at this point. They should really tell people earlier if they want to keep their good applicants.

Did you find it easier to get your internship because of your background?

Well every senior at my school goes to an internship every Wednesday. Being able to boast a pretty legit resume probably helped though. I also had a strong interview. In general I just recommend that you make it your goal to let your employer know that you are qualified for and interested in getting your position.

How did you get denied at Cornell? Especially with a full ride to Stanford. I would have thought you could get into Cornell with your stats.

I really don't know. I guess they didn't like my GPA. It was probably pretty low compared to other applicants from my school. It's not like Cornell didn't take about 15-20 kids from us.

Ah. So your school hooks you guys up with interns? thats so awesome

Yeah pretty much.. my school is pretty sick. I was one of many many acceptances to real top notch schools. Bergen County Academies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

whoa...avg. SAT score = 2015...ridiculous

congrats on the full ride to Stanford, that's pretty awesome.

Yeah, I checked out that school. That alone definately helped your shots! Is it dificult to get in?
