I like math and I've been hearing good things about the actuarial math. I'm actually planning to go to graduate school later either law or med school, but in case I couldn't get in one of those. it's always good to have a good major where you can actually get a job..

so my questions are
how hard is it.. I love math, I am doing good in calculus, stat, etc
is it easier than the general math?
is it true that is has more career options?

It is probably a convenient checklist of courses to prepare for actuarial jobs, including the VEE requirements. It is not required to major in such a thing to enter actuarial jobs, but specific relevant course work in math, statistics, economics, and finance is needed or helpful.

That is not true. I have been in the field for 28 years and today you need 2 or 3 exams and hopefully an internship to make it easier to get a job.
