<p>^sounds like a good place to start, because obviously peoplesoft doesn’t let it happen. maybe you should check with them before you go (like sometime in Jan when the University’s running but classes haven’t begun) to see whether you need to bring any special permission from your advisor or one of the professors. that’s what I’d do anyway. anyway, good luck with all that!</p>
<p>Yeah, you have to paper add/drop it…
You can get the slip from your college registrar’s office (they usually have a stack of it up at the beginning of the semester since a lot of people do it) and then you fill out, get the prof to sign off on it and then bring it into the registrar. Pretty quick and snappy. =)</p>
<p>One person I know scheduled a lab to overlap with a lecture, and just didn’t go to the lecture that day of the week. You definitely can get away with some stuff they wouldn’t usually let happen.</p>
<p>you can override almost anything with paper add/drop. back in the day of the old add/drop (just the facts) you could enroll in things that had conflicted.</p>
