The academic calendar says that the drop deadline WITHOUT notation on transcript has passed
if its still possible to drop, would it be better to drop with notation on transcript, or to perhaps get a NP in the class?</p>

<p>I highly doubt it. The week of the deadline I kept getting emails from different mailing lists which said that a student CANNOT add/drop after the deadline. You can always go to the advising office and check though.</p>

<p>It surely depends on the course. If its somewhat related to your major, I’d assume it would at least have some impact. If its not-so related, then it might not matter as much but no one really wants a NP on their transcript.</p>
