<p>I couldn't make it to the meeting due to family reasons, so I have two questions:
1. How do you switch a section? There's only one class I want to switch a section for, but I don't now how to go about doing so.</p>

<li>This is more of an opinion question, but what are the possibilities that a class would open? I want to add a class (general psych) but the section I want is closed.</li>

<p>If you want to switch a section go to ‘course lookup’ on Webreg to find the section you want. If it is available (green) click on ‘register’ in Webreg (to the right, next to the class info) and it will automatically drop the other section.</p>
<p>It’s hard to say if a section will open up. Sometimes there is a lot of switching around, and sometimes a section never opens up. It’s hard to know because no one can be on Webreg 24/7 and you never know if you have missed an open section.</p>
<p>Ok, so what if that section starts today at a certain time, do I go to it or wait for the following lecture?</p>
<p>You could go to it, but you may not get to change sections anyway. If you end up getting in, you can just see the instructor for what you missed or get notes from another student. It seems like the first class is usually spent going over the syllabus.</p>
