Add to Resume?

<p>First off, I should not that I am actually a prospective transfer student, but I feel this question goes for many people. </p>

<p>In the time that I sent my resume to my prospective schools, I was nominated for, and won a huge award in my school for Outstanding Student. I wanted to know if there was any way I could add this to my resume, or perhaps could I send the letter to my schools? Or would that look, in lack for a better term, douchy? I really feel that it adds a lot to a schools decision to admit me or not. Does anybody have any ideas on how to notify my prospective schools about this award?</p>

<p>Send it in a letter as an “update,” while also expressing your continued interest in the school.</p>

<p>Do you mean mail them the letter? Or email them? Or send them an updated resume? I used Common App for all of them, by the way.</p>
