<p>Flaunting minuscule acceptance rates doesn’t do much when a school’s yield ultimately stinks.

<p>@andromeda: I don’t think that’s true. From what I understand from what my college counselor (who has spoken to my regional admissions rep, they’re not done by any means. Hang on dude! I’m in the exact same position.</p>

<p>When your counselor talked to the regional representative, was he given any information regarding the dates we will receive our answers? It seems like the May 15th - July 1st dates were abandoned… </p>
<p>Seriously it really is nerve-wrecking. I have nightmares about the wait list every night, can’t stop thinking about it during the day… I keep wanting to call the office every 5 mins. to ask them about openings, etc. I just hope I get off.</p>

<p>I’ve been taken off the waitlist too! However, I am always waiting for another waitlist and will not know about that school until June! Is there a deadline as to what date we must accept our offer from Columbia?</p>

<p>I heard from Columbia yesterday. So I guess I should accept it then if I only have a week to do so. I guess I cant wait for the other waitlist.</p>
