extended release gradually releases the dextroamphetamine into your body throughout the day, the regular just releases it all at once and usually comes in smaller doses.

-this is said with sarcasm, because, in case you didn't know, adderall is basically diet speed, and can really **** you up if used improperly. For instance, my friend took it, and in fact wasted 4 hours because every single sound or movement caught his attention, and so he couldn't focus on his work. He then spent 3 hours running around central park.

I guess I'm not nearly as nice as the other people on this forum. I'm not concerned with your health, I don't care about your employment test, I just hope you know you're a total *******. Taking aderol while studying as a student is equivalent to taking steroids as an athlete. Its blatently cheating in the highest degree to get an edgee on people and shows you can't cut it yourself, it's pathetic that you use aderol not because of its health effects but because you're misusing a drug to get ahead of legitimate students, don't substitute drugs for hard work

I don't think taking adderall is like taking steroroids especially when its not used solely to do better in school. Many people with severe ADHD really do need it. My dad takes it and he is not in school. He uses it because he can't focus while driving and is prone to car accidents due to not paying attention. Taking adderall has helped him tremendously. Many children with severe behavioral problems also use adderall/ritalin, and not just to do better in school. That said, as a former user, I would never take adderall/ritalin again simply because I didn't like the way it made me feel personality wise.

ali12, i assume you are addressing your post to benndaman, who if you read more carefully, does not condemn adderall use by those with ADHD, he is saying it's cheating if you don't have ADHD, and are using it simply as a study aid.
