How many of you use it (without actually having ADD)?

How did you get it?

How has is helped you? How strong of a difference have you noticed in your performance because of it?

..this is for a summer assignment for my Psych class. please answer if you have any relevant information! and you can answer if you have information about people in your school/area/family who have had experience with it.

Never used it.

Mom is doctor. Dad is pharmacist they would instantly recognize if I used it. Good luck with your survey!

People actually do this?

On CC?

yeah…its apparently very popular with students who have to study a lot.

According to the book the Overachievers.

First of all, ADD is fake. It’s as much of a disorder as being short.

I’ve taken one of those Adderall-type things before (I think it was called Concerta)… Not really to study though. I bought them from someone, they told me to take an amount way higher than they should have advised (this was 6 36mg pills). My experience with it was an inability to eat for 2 days (I could not have shoved food in my mouth, and it seriously lasted for 2 days), inability to sleep for about 3 days (this might have been two days or two and a half too, but I had to go to school, I went to sleep after I got home from school that day), and dancing lights for ~3 hours (starting shortly after I took it).

I can say this, while I was on it (and this seriously lasted 2 days), I didn’t feel like doing anything at all, and I also wasn’t adverse to doing anything in particular. So it could help you just not be distracted by wanting to do anything else. Also, as I said earlier, I couldn’t sleep.

No, and I never would. Illegal and unsportsmanlike, in my view.
