yeah, I'm still on a lot, but not nearly as much, and it isn't as interesting anymore.
it's really just a gradual thing.

I'm kind of addicted. I've been on it for about a month now. Sometimes it's boring and sometimes it's extremely helpful and interesting.

Yeah I used to be addicted to CC, but now I've moved onto Facebook, and am definitely addicted to it.

It's like when people give up smoking but start drinking diet Coke or chewing sunflower seeds....

You SHOULD be THANKFUL that you haven't got addicted to the Cafe yet! You ARE BLESSED!

Possible Cure: try to divert urself by using facebook or my space even if u hate those! lol! If u can get out of CC for a few days, the dose will autmatically get diluted! ;)

Partial differential equations are the only cure. :D

OFFTopic: I just thought this thread might be the best place for me to make my 1000th non-Cafe post! A milestone indeed, if u consider my immense addiction to the Cafe! (I had more than 1000 posts in Cafe for sure!)

Senior Member, W*0000TY W000*T!

This is the perfect thread, Asif. You are quite on topic, actually. :D

lol. I guess I was *destined * to make my 1000th post in this 'respective' manner!

You know that 1/3rd of what's on wikipedia is wrong.

yea, i'm thinking college is the only actual semi-cure to this site....

No. In fact, Nature, the prestigious science journal, had an article that explained that Wikipedia is almost as good as the Encyclopaedia Brtiannica (which now is on the front page). I'm looking at the article for ribozymes right now. Would you care to debate the careful referencing on articles such as Bill Clinton (more than 100 distinct references)? I'm a frequent editor, so I have quite a bit of experience. A study was done in which 5 well-known professors evaluated the articles for 5 controversial topics such as The People's Republic of China, Global Warming, and Bill Clinton. Only the one who evaluated the China article was somewhat disappointed.

If you had to have one addiction, I think cc is by far the best one to have :)

I used to post here A LOT (like 50+ a day) when I first joined. Now that school has started I only go on once a day for like 10 minutes (right now) and check certain forums that I have favorited on my IE (College Admissions, High School Life, AP Tests Preparation, SAT2 Test Preparation, SAT and ACT Tests Preparation, What are my Chances?, and this guys profile (He's a great poster and basically everything he posts is worth reading).

50 posts a day.......... wowee zowee :D

^Jeez.-___-

guilty! :)

meh

I'm semi-addicted.

Ohhh wikipedia is BAAAAAAAAAD. I've been on the site for days in a row!

Tetrisfan, you may have a bad case of Wikipediholism. Try this test:
