How many of you are adding a short 1 page resume? How would you go about formatting it? I just want to make a short list of my most notable activities with very short descriptions, but have no idea on how to format it.

Thanks all

Some things have been omitted for confidentiality reasons, and obviously, your formatting will vary slightly.

I didn't bother including one (was too lazy to format the one I had to make it look nice); I just wrote all the relevant information in the spaces on the commonapp. I don't think it helps that much as long as you have a solid strategy in your application.

Im including a 3 page one....in the form of a table, with activity, hours, days, description, etc.

3 pages is mad long...even my resume was kind of long...

hey sparticus, I just have a few questions about your resum

yes i applied ED. I'm in the College of Arts and Sciences, Class of 2009.

Section Leader is based on a mix of musical knowledge, leadership skills, and seniority versus instrument proficiency in my school. Also, I'm more of a soloist than a screamer, so 2nd part is where one would expect me to play.

Yes, I went to the Civic Leadership thing in Baltimore session 1 and Dickinson College session 2 in my last year.

It's that crappy national fitness test they make you take in public schools, and at least some private schools. "National" just means you're in decent shape; "Presidential" means you're pretty damn fit. Either way, it's not prestegious at all.
